At Howard Memorial, we believe that God calls us to be generous and joyful givers of our time, talents and resources. The church relies on donations and pledges to continue the meaningful work of faith in action. Your monetary contributions support this effort; everything from our church infrastructure to outreach into our community and beyond. 

We have been blessed to be a blessing. The question is how do we use the blessings in a way that shows our thanksgiving to God? 

Legacy Giving

Howard Memorial’s Legacy Giving Ministry was begun in 2023. Its goal is to extend and enhance what the church is able to do in the years to come by building a strong financial future. This ministry is a way to give forward and live forward, blessing those who come after us. 

Our mission is to establish and maintain a financial mechanism for the purpose of accepting bequests from members and friends of the church. It is an innovative dimension in stewardship where members and friends of the church are encouraged and invited to share their accumulated resources by making a bequest to the church. 

As a church, we are committed to providing a lasting legacy which will support and enhance this community of believers as we look toward the future. Legacy gifts will allow the church to continue to serve as a place of worship and learning: and a place from which we serve through mission.

Project 150

All of the funds raised from our 150th Anniversary Celebration events and the sale of special items will go to local organizations that support children and families in distress.
