This ministry provides weekend food for local school children in need — following Christ's call to care for the least of these. On Wednesday, September 7th, HMPC will be hosting a "shower" during the Potluck Dinner in which food items as well as monetary donations can be brought by the church. Donations are also needed throughout the school year. Guidelines for food contributions are as follows: All servings must be individual servings that are factory-packaged. (Please, no large family-size bags or boxes of food.) Pop-top cans are best, as some children will not have access to can openers. Also, please be aware of expiration dates, as your items may not be sent home with a child for a couple of weeks.
